Welcome, and thank you for visiting Compassionate Solutions. My name is Santha Payne and I am a counsellor providing both short- and long-term therapy to adult individuals in Evesham & online.

Counselling and therapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting

I am an experienced and accredited therapist with over 20 years of practice, offering therapy from my home near Evesham. I work with individuals, couples, and young people, providing a safe, non-judgmental space for those seeking to make meaningful change in their lives.

In addition to general therapy for anxiety, depression, and relational breakdown, I specialize in supporting individuals with ADHD—whether you’re navigating a recent diagnosis, awaiting one, or learning how to manage your symptoms. I understand how overwhelming it can be and am here to help you explore effective coping strategies tailored to your unique needs.

Autism Support for Young People and Adults

I also have significant experience working with autistic young people and adults, providing understanding, guidance, and practical tools to manage the challenges that come with autism. My goal is to help you build confidence and develop a sense of peace as you learn to thrive in your personal and professional life.

Couples Counselling and Relationship Support

For couples, I offer compassionate and impartial support for those feeling emotionally stuck or facing challenging periods in their relationship. If you’re at a crossroads, struggling with communication, or feeling like you’ve reached an emotional impasse, I can help you navigate these difficult moments and rebuild a deeper, healthier connection.

Communication and Connection

I work with couples to explore healthy ways to consider conflict, offering practical tools to de-escalate arguments and prevent cycles of blame or hurt that can damage the relationship. Together, we will explore communication patterns, help you both feel heard and understood, and build strategies to handle difficult conversations with empathy and respect.

Children and young people

I work with children and young people who are having difficulty with anxiety or low self esteem. I cover areas such as bullying and cyber bullying from online abuse. They often need support with navigating social groups and friendships where changes can happen abruptly and individual are left excluded. This can particularly affect neurodivergent children leaving them emotionally be overwhelmed and overstimulated. Therapy can help teach young people about emotional regulation and social skills. They can learn how to stabilise themselves emotionally and descale anxiety attacks.

“Santha, my counselling experience has been incredibly positive, and I’m very grateful for the support I received. Through our sessions, you helped me navigate the grief of losing my mother eight years ago and understand how that unresolved grief had contributed to burnout at work. You created a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where I felt heard and understood. Your guidance has helped me process difficult emotions, build healthier coping strategies, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and support throughout my journey—it has made a meaningful difference in my life.”

Natalia

“Santha has been an incredible support to our neurodivergent daughter, and her Equine Therapy sessions are consistently the highlight of her week.

The therapeutic bond our daughter has developed with the horses provides a unique, sensory-rich environment that traditional office-based therapy simply cannot replicate.

Through these interactions, our daughter has gained invaluable tools for emotional regulation which has led to a noticeable reduction in her anxiety levels.

Beyond the emotional support, the sense of mastery she feels from working with these beautiful animals has significantly boosted her self-esteem and confidence.

Santha provides a non-judgmental, safe space where our daughter feels truly comfortable expressing her emotions.

We are so grateful for the positive, life-changing impact this form of therapy is having on our daughter’s emotional well-being.”
